BLACK GIRLS WHO ROCK!

I just got done watching "Black Girls Rock!" and I honestly am inspired. I also watched the "Monique Show" when Chrisette Michelle appeared and she spoke about hanging pictures up of women who inspire you. These black women inspire me and these Black Girls Rock!

She's a black girl who rocks in my eyes because of the wonderful character she played in this movie, "Carmen Jones." I thought she was the most beautiful woman. She also has an outstanding voice when it comes to singing.

This black girl rocks because she was daring. She was ambitious. She left the country and made a name for herself. I always thought she was brave because she danced in nothing but a banana skirt. Which was awsome but very daring.

"It Gets Better." ~ Anita Minniefield

I honestly thought it was part of my duty to support the "It Gets Better." campaign, dedicated to all the young men who committed suicide in the country during these past few months. This goes out to all gay, lesbian, bi-sexual,trans-sexual, any different sexual preferences then straight. I know it's hard out there for you guys, living in a world were people are so judgemental, when they don't have the right to be. Getting bullied and called names. It's a very, very awful thing to go through. I wanna say it gets better. The last thing you want to do is commit suicide because if it fails you'll regret it. The best thing to do is just rise. Rise against all the hatred and be who you are. I'm trying my best to keep my mini speech clean, because if I had a choice this note wouldn't be pretty,at all. I would tell you to tell those bully's to shove it somewhere, but i'm not. I'm telling you that things will get better in time, all you have to do is just rise.
